A 40 years old man from Nnewi  in Okpunoeze village in Uraugu community , Anambra, were on Wednesday thrown into mourning over the murder of Mrs Bene Ikegwuonwu, 70, by her son, Chinedu Ikegwuonwu, The  incident occurred at about 8 a.m. after an altercation between the duo over a piece of land belonging to the suspect’s younger brother. Mufutu Nyongesa, 25, from Tande village in Kenya  died on Monday after drinking excessive amounts of alcohol on an empty stomach. The decessed is said to have been drinking with friends at a local bar when they decided to have a competition. The prize was more alcohol for the one who managed to drink the most in the shortest time, he is said to have gulped down two bottles of concentrated spirit donated by other revellers before he started experiencing stomach problems. The deceased’s wife, Anne Naliaka, said he had left home to check on his motorcycle at a repair shop but did not return as promised. “He had asked me to cook ugali for supper but he didn’t show up.   A 19 year old Dorcas Adilewa, who planned her own kidnap to defraud her father, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command. The News Agency of Nigeriareports that the suspect planned the kidnap in connivance with one Ifeoluwa Ogunbanjo, her friend, who provided location and a phone to contact her parents. I used to know this insect but I never knew it was very dangerous until I saw what it did to this innocent child. The boy's skin have been peeling off since he was bitten by this insect. Doctors said they don't have any treatment for its venom because it has not been discovered by scientists. An alleged 46-year-old homeless artist with no arms was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida, for stabbing another man with a pair of scissors using his feet, police said on Wednesday. Florida native Jonathan Crenshaw stabbed a 22-year-old Chicago man twice with the scissors before running away, according to the Miami Beach Police Department report on Crenshaw's arrest early on Tuesday.
